Having been given a very small site in food market, we have to come up with a mixed-use building functioning as commercial slots at the lower level and residential space at the upper one. What is so interesting for us is constrains remarked from the owner: 1) very tight budget and 2) very limited construction time. So we propose the conventional loft structure with alternative functional arrangements to suit several needs. What we put up more is the horizontal plane in order to visually divide the lower and the upper parts.
